German-Filipino model Stephany Stefanowitz bagged the Miss Earth-Air title during the 12th Miss Earth coronation night at Versailles Palace in Alabang, Muntinlupa City, on Saturday, sustaining the Philippines' winning streak in the global competition.
Czech Republic's Tereza Fajksova, 23, was crowned Miss Earth 2012, beating 79 other international delegates.
The pageant describes itself as an "annual global beauty contest with a strong emphasis on environmental protection programmes".
Singapore's representative, 24-year-old engineer Phoebe Tan, was not among the finalists.
During the presentation earlier this month, the 91 contestants from around the globe modelled swimwear and entertained the media with a rendition of the "gangnam style" dance popularised by Psy.
