His beady eyes resemble game show host Benedict Goh. Side on, he can pass off as a James Lye double. Combined, he is one hunk to look out for.

Edmond Goh, the 25-year-old financial planner, was unexpectedly plucked from the crowd at Clarke Quay where Female was on the hunt for likely 50 Gorgeous People candidates.

Weeks later, he heard from Female again notifying him that he had made the top 50 list. For someone who has never heard of the contest before, much less expect to get shortlisted, becoming a finalist came as a pleasant surprise for Edmond.

His stallion-build might give you a hint that this man is probably a frequent gym-goer, but Diva found out that Edmond enjoys yoga too!

He wrote in a blog entry that he spends most days at work and heading to the gym.

His motivation? To be happy and fit.

Aside to that, Edmond also wants to make it big someday, which explains his love for his job.

"It gives me lots of job satisfaction and suits my personality."

When asked about his recipe for looking good, the muscle-clad lad told Diva that regular exercise and having a balanced diet are important to him. These help him feel good on the inside, and that to him is the 'Law of Attraction'.

While he does not prescribe to the use of much facial products, Edmond believes in the miracle effects of detox pills to keep him looking fresh.

So when it came to the topic of dating, the dashing chap has this tip to share with fellow Singaporeans: "Whatever you do during the date, be sincere."

And what turns him off when on dates? "A girl chatting non-stop on her mobile," he said with disdain. Ladies, here's where you take note too.

Sounds like a no-nonsense type of guy? Most likely. But kudos to him as such single-mindedness and determination in a person are rare these days.
