Meet Adrian Jalaludin, the self-declared laid back guy who is in the top 50 for Female Gorgeous People - again.

If you have been an faithful follower of the annual contest, you probably might not recall seeing Adrian before. You're right, the 24-year-old was never been featured in the Singapore edition, but he was previously a finalist for Female 50 Gorgeous People, Malaysia in 2006 when he was only 21 years old then.

Diva had the honour of interviewing the TV host and actor whom we found had such captivating guy-next-door charms and absolutely no airs about him.

Adrian attributes his good looks to his parents and grandparents. "At least I'm honest enough to say I think they are some good looking features," he said with laughter.

People call him 'AJ' for short, but with such an intriguing last name, we just had to find out more about his heritage even though Adrian warned it was going to be complicated.

Adrian tells us his Malaysia-born father is half Dutch and half Indonesian. As for my his mother, she is Pakistani-Chinese, but as her mother is German and Chinese, that makes her half Chinese, quarter Pakistani and quarter German.

And that makes Adrian quarter Dutch, quarter Indonesian, quarter Chinese, and two-eighths Pakistani and German. Okay, now that's complicated.

The outgoing lad also shared with us that his motto in life is 'Carpe Diem' which means to seize the day or moment.

He explains: "You will never know when the opportunity will arise again. You only live once, so you got to make the most of it."

Lucky for Adrian, who loves his job to bits, he gets to jet set around the world with his latest stint as a host of a travel/breakfast show. Of the many places he has been to, from Thailand, Japan to Germany, he enjoyed Switzerland the most for its scenically amazing the country side views.

His most recent adventure for Breakfast on the Move took him on a bicycle trail around 11 states in Malaysia. Beat that!

Even though he is always on the move, Adrian believes in taking care of himself with a good skincare regime. He religiously cleanse, tones and moisturizes every night.

He also recommends a good shampoo and conditioner and to buy hair products that will not damage hair in the long run. On top of that, Adrian does not forget the importance of healthy living. He exercises once or twice a week by swimming.

When he does have the time to date, he likes to take girls to places with good service and better still, when staff know him by name. He explains: "That way they'll always give you first class service and your date will be very impressed with your people skills and your ability to ensure he or she will always be taken care of when he/she is with you."

However, it gets really turned off if his date rocks up to dinner with a BMW, Prada handbag, Gucci shoes and an attitude. To girls like that, he says: "Leave the pretentiousness at home!"

In his free time, Adrian loves watching or playing football for fun, but when it comes to online hobbies, he shyly reveals that he cannot resist reading gossip news about Hollywood celebrities.

"It's so easily accessible and tempting that sometimes I find myself inside celeb news that I am able to gossip with 'the girls'. Its terrible!"

Even with his boyish demeanor, it seems Adrian will make a great 'girlfriend' buddy for us girls too!
