Jennifer Garner is luxury Italian fashion house Max Mara's first celebrity spokesmodel.

This is also the first time the 41-year-old US actress is fronting a fashion brand.

The mother of three and wife of US actor-director Ben Affleck will appear in its new JBag campaign.

Garner said in a statement: "I like the size of the JBag... I like that it's big enough to carry anything you want to stuff in there, but it's small enough that you won't lose your keys!"

She added that she was a natural fit for the brand: "My style is pragmatic... I like to wear garments that have a real luxurious texture and feel good against the skin."
