Actors Dax Shepard, 38, and Kristen Bell, 32, welcomed their first child, daughter Lincoln, into the world last Thursday.

"Lincoln Bell Shepard is here," proud Parenthood star Shepard tweeted upon his daughter's birth. "She has mum's beauty and dad's obsession with breasts. Hooray!!!"

Bell tweeted: "My new roommate poops her pants and doesn't pay rent... basically pre-sobriety :) welcome baby Lincoln xo."

"We wouldn't want to invite all of our friends who don't have that right to celebrate us, who have that right," Shepared said earlier this year on US talkshow The View. "We just don't feel right about that." (checked)

The couple have been together since 2007 and were engaged in 2009. They shared the screen in the 2010 movie When In Rome and starred in the 2012 film Hit And Run, which was written and co-directed by Shepard.
