Model Georgia May Jagger (right) has been handpicked by US pop star Madonna to be the new face of her Material Girl clothing line, which is a collaborative range with her teen daughter, Lourdes.

The 20-year-old, who is the daughter of rock star Sir Mick Jagger and former supermodel Jerry Hall, joins the likes of US actress Taylor Momsen and UK TV host Kelly Osbourne, who were previous ambassadors.

Jagger, who described her selection as "amazing", will appear in a back-to-school campaign for the brand, set to launch in Europe this summer.
