For this hubby, fatter is sexier

What's it like to bed the heaviest woman in the world, who tips the scales at a staggering 330kg?

If you ask Mr Alex Potter, he would wax eloquent on the fact that it's the best sex he has had in his life.

While the world may be turned off by overweight people, Mr Potter, 46, feels the other way. He got so turned on by his wife that he even got back with her after divorcing her three years ago.

When he split with Pauline Potter, 47, she was already a whopping 292kg.

Disappointed that her marriage was over, she gorged on food and put on more weight. She went on to become the heaviest woman in the world and clinched the Guinness World Record for her girth.

When he came to know that she had been named the heaviest woman, it only made her even more irresistible.

Mr Potter, who weighs a svelte 70kg, immediately moved in with her in California, US, The Sun reported.

Mrs Potter told The Sun: "Most women think losing weight is the way to get their ex's attention - but for me it was just the opposite.

"Becoming the world's heaviest woman is what made him fall in love with me all over again and we're now working on getting our relationship back on track."

She may not be able to get around by herself, but Mr Potter says she is a "dynamite" in bed.

Said Mr Potter: "She can't walk, dress herself or even go to the toilet on her own - but I'm desperate to be her lover and caretaker again.

"I miss our sex life. Pauline could be the heaviest woman, but we would still have sex every single day because it's that good."

He said that within the first day of getting back together, they had sex six times.

He added: "Even though one of Pauline's legs weighs more than I do, we're able to position her body to make sex enjoyable for both of us."

But there is a flip side to this passionate love-making. Mr Potter thinks that the bed could collapse and one of them seriously injured or killed.

Mrs Potter, meanwhile, admits that he is the one who does all the hard work.

The couple met in 2002, when Mr Potter sent an e-mail to the wrong address and it ended up in her inbox.

After exchanging e-mails for several weeks, they bonded over both being single parents and love bloomed.

But she was worried that he would be put off by her weight - she was 203kg then. To her surprise, he wasn't.

They married in 2005 and Mrs Potter and her son, Dillon, moved in with Mr Potter and his son Sherman, who is now 21, in Phoenix, Arizona.

But she couldn't get along with her stepson. Three years later, she filed for divorce and moved back to California.

Mr Potter moved on and began dating other women. Mrs Potter, who lives on US$850 (S$1,120) a month in benefits, withdrew into her home and began eating. Her daily intake was about 10,000 calories, which is 8,000 calories above the recommended intake for a woman.

She became totally dependent on her son, Dillon, who is also overweight at 114kg. He cooked for her and bathed her.

She said that it became so bad that it took her an hour to shower because she had to "reach my hose under each and every fat fold. It's exhausting".

Eventually, she decided she had to take action before she killed herself, and contacted the Guinness Book of Records.

She told The Sun: "I figured I needed to publicly humiliate myself in order to help myself."

She said doctors and weight-lose specialists have contacted her in their attempt to help her lose weight. She said she is trying to work on her weight and she goes to the pool three times a week to exercise.

Her goal is to shed 90kg and have weight-loss surgery so that she doesn't have to rely on anybody for help.

And, of course, be more nimble in bed.
