It's a secret no more. Andy Lau and his Malaysian missus, Carol Chu are expecting a baby girl.

The Hong Kong superstar posted his Dragon baby news on his official fan site: "My baby is a girl. I'm only sharing this 'secret' with my beloved fans."

According to sina.com, he had made a promise to his fan club members that they would be the first to know, once he found out the sex of the baby.

The baby is due in June.

The Hong Kong superstar had confirmed in Nov last year that his Malaysian wife was pregnant in a posting on his official fan club website.

After receiving an award at the Golden Horse Film Festival, Lau wrote on his fan club website www.awc618.com that his family received "happiness" (a traditional Chinese metaphor for pregnancy).

"I understand my family and fans are concerned about this family matter and have been praying for me," Lau wrote.

"Thank God for his blessing, for giving one joy after another to me. Now my family has 'happiness' and I want to share it with my family and fans. Bless us."
