Get 20% off French Connection items at Marina IR

AFTER a three-month hiatus, British fashion label French Connection has officially opened its new flagship store at Marina Bay Sands.

The minimalistic boutique, which is offering a 20 per cent discount on all merchandise until Sunday, is located at Basement Two of The Shoppes, and spans a spacious 150 sq m.

A fresh in-store virtual merchandising concept has also been rolled out alongside the label's re-entry into the Singapore market.

All pieces from the latest French Connection collection - which are inspired by preppy British influences and French Riviera chic - are carefully laid out in a mix-and-match manner on the store's display racks, enabling customers to put together an outfit easily.

"With this new concept, our shoppers will no longer require a personal shopper to show them how to mix and match their clothes, as a solution is provided," said Miss Natalie Wang, assistant marketing manager of Kai Yan, the British label's newly appointed local distributor.

Mr Neil Williams, French Connection's director of operations, said that Asia has been a very important part of the group's business.

He said: "Going forward, there will be significant developments in China, Hong Kong, the rest of South-east Asia. I also see very good potential to open more stores in Singapore over the next couple of years."

The French Connection boutique is located at 10 Bayfront Avenue, B2-122, The Shoppes, Marina Bay Sands.

Customers who spend a minimum of $20 at The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands and the ArtScience Museum will enjoy free parking between 10am and 4pm from Mondays to Thursdays.
