Bold colours for ready-to-wear Raya collection

FOR this Hari Raya season, Datuk Radzuan Radziwill has created a collection specially for modern Muslim women.

Featured under his RR label, the ready-to-wear line has plenty of strong colours and intricate designs.

Radzuan's collection is meant to reflect the true spirit of Raya from the viewpoint of the modern Muslimah.

The clothes can be worn as it is or layered, while still retaining the element of modesty.

There is a clash of colours in a pleasing array of combinations. Billowy tunics are paired with fitted trousers while turbans are in bright colours and printed material.

Kaftans come in several colours with minimal embellishment, while dresses were long and flowy.

There are also casual tops and cardigans to complement the different looks. Although some designs are billowy, they are cinched at the right places to give some shape. Most of the clothes can be mixed and matched.

What makes the collection wearable is the versatility of the different designs. The pieces can be worn on any body shape.

The designer also considers the collection timely and in tune with womens' needs for more modest designs.

"This collection is a reflection of our style, which is culturally sensitive. From a business perspective, it makes perfect sense to launch a collection like this as people generally indulge in shopping during major festivals. We are confident that customers will find this collection appealing."

Materials used are jersey and knitted fabrics. The lovely pieces will certainly make a welcome addition to the wardrobe.

The collection is also more affordably priced than his made-to-measure range. According to Radzuan, it is ideal for women who are in their mid-20s to 50s.

The ready-to-wear RR collection is available at The Twelve, Fahrenheit 88, Jalan Bukit Bintang and Radzuan Radziwill in Dayabumi, Kuala Lumpur. The collection is also sold online at radzuanradziwill.com. Prices range from RM88 to RM488.
