Right around this time of the year, while other young women are dreaming of a romantic date with their partners, Ms Liew must work extra hard to put together thousands of rose bouquets which men will buy for other women.
Ms Liew hasn't had a boyfriend for 5 years.
"I'll be spending Valentine's Day with my colleagues and the flowers," she half-jokes.
Ms Liew is an employee at Noel Gifts, a gift company that usually has to double the number of staff days before Valentine's Day to cope with the surge in demand. The company's record is a bumper sale of almost 6,000 bouquets in one day.
Not surprisingly, prices of roses typically increase by as much as 40 to 50 per cent during this period. Still, some couples simply feel they cannot celebrate Valentine's Day without a rose bouquet.
RazorTV checks out the escalating prices of roses, and Ms Liew teaches you how you can save some money by making your own rose bouquet.
