The superspy James Bond movie franchise celebrates its 50th anniversary this year.

And what is Bond without its babes?

Over 90 actresses have played the powerful and sexy sirens onscreen as Bond's love interests or nemeses.

Online site Ranker asked its readers to vote for the sexiest and most favourite Bond babe of all time.

Topping the list is actress Ursula Andress, who played Honeychile Rider in 1962's Dr. No.

The iconic scene where she emerges from the ocean in a white bikini is probably seared in the memories of many young men.

It even received a revival in the 20th James Bond film, Die Another Day, where Halle Berry paid homage to the role by recreating the scene, this time in an orange bikini.

Taking second spot on Ranker's list is Vesper Lynd from the movie Casino Royale,  played by French actress Eva Green.

Other famous Bond girls include Sophie Marceau, who played Elektra King in 1999's The World is Not Enough.

And who can forget Honor Blackman, if not the actress then the character by the name of Pussy Galore, in 1964's Goldfinger.

Some deem Blackman as the definitive Bond girl.

But what is impressive, is that Blackman played the role at the ripe old age of 38, making her the oldest Bond girl ever in the series.

She was also nearly five years older than Sean Connery, who played Bond in the movie.
