Hong Kong actress Sonija Kwok has given birth to a 6 lbs (2.7kg) baby girl via Caesarean section, media sources reported Friday.

The bundle of joy arrived two weeks early on Tuesday. Both mother and daughter are fine and are now resting at home.

38-year-old Kwok got married to Zhu Shaojie, 33, an action choreographer from China, last October.

The proud parents are still thinking of a name for their little one, but call her their "little angel"

Kwok also thanked the media for their well wishes.

"We will nurture our little angel to the best of our ability, so that she can grow up happy and healthy," said Kwok.

According to the Oriental Daily, Zhu posted a thank you note to his wife on Weibo: "Thank you Ni (Sonija's Chinese name), my dear wife for giving me a cute baby." And Sonija replied with six heart icons.
