Karen Mok is not the only actress getting married in October. Her fellow Hong Kong star Sonija Kwok, 37, has jumped on the bandwagon and tied the knot in the same month.
The former Miss Hong Kong 1999 married her China sweetheart Zhu Shaojie, 32, an action choreographer from China.
The family-only wedding took place on Saturday on the idyllic islands of Guam, reported Apple Daily.
The TVB actress personally broke the news on her microblog, proudly exclaiming, "We got married today!" and attached a wedding photograph to go along with it.
In the picture which she posted on her microblog, she was wearing a white figure-hugging wedding gown and gazing into her husband's eyes.
The couple met last year while working on the set of a costume drama, Palace, which starred actors and actresses from China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. The 35-episode-drama began airing in China in January this year.
Before meeting Mr Zhu, Kwok had been linked to TVB stars like Deric Wan and Michael Tao.
