While critics love the classy Miss Universe Malaysia Deborah Henry (right), the heat is on Miss Universe Australia Scherri-Lee Biggs (left) for wearing a see-through evening dress and Miss Universe Colombia Catalina Robayo (center) for going commando at the Miss Universe 2011 pageant in Sao Paolo, Brazil.
Both Biggs and Robayo have since, been warned by pageant bosses to dress more appropriately.
"She (Robayo) probably didn't wear undies because she didn't want visible panty lines, but had something else visible instead," Andrea Fonseka, the national director of Miss Universe Malaysia Organisation shares her thoughts with The Daily Chilli.
Racy photos of the 22-year-old Miss Colombia in a mini dress - sans her underwear made headline news inside and outside Brazil.
"I'm sure it wasn't intentional, but now its quite embarrassing. She claims she was wearing nude coloured undies," adds Fonseka."When in a short skirt like that, ladies should wear black seamless panties. Then there won't be a question!"
The prestigious beauty pageantry was given another blow on Monday evening as 21-year-old Miss Australia shocked the judges in her sheer satin gown during rehearsals.
They told her "It's too offensive," reports the Herald Sun.
On the Malaysian front, Deborah wows them in her Wau Bulan-inspired national costume, evening dress and during the Q&A session.
Top beauty magazine Global Beauties, which plays chief critic at all international beauty pageants, has voted our homegrown beauty as Miss GB Personality.
"Just shot (did a photoshoot) my national costume!" Deborah tweets. "Everyone loved it."
