The 33-year-old has signed up to participate in a live "Swayamvar" (an ancient Indian practice of choosing a husband from among a list of suitors) and marry on TV, Mumbai daily Mid-Day reported.
She came under fire for taking part in the show after fellow actress Rakhi Sawant claimed that the Veena already lives with boyfriend Ashmit Patel.
