THIS is proof that the East can produce stars that ooze as much sex appeal as the West, if not more.

In FHM Taiwan's 2011 "100 Sexiest Women in the World" list, only a handful of Western stars - such as Megan Fox, Angelina Jolie and Jessica Alba - made the cut.

Instead, based on votes garnered, it complied a strong list of sexy Asian ladies, with a Taiwanese being crowned the sexist woman in the world.

Notably, all the 3 members from girl band S.H.E. were listed, despite one of them, Selina Jen, having suffered serious burns from an accident this year, and facing fears that she might get disfigured.

Rainie Yang, known to be a sweetie pie in Taiwan, still seems to exude sex appeal, apparently, as the list goes by.

Also, look out for stars such as Jolin Tsai, touted to be the "Taiwanese Britney Spears", the nine girls from Korean pop sensation Girl's Generation, Da Yuan, known to have an E Cup, and Janine Chang, who has a law degree.
