HONG KONG: Photos splashed across Hong Kong's celebrity pages show former celebrity couple Nicholas Tse and Cecilia Cheung holidaying at a private club with their sons.
The pair, who was married for five years, split up in September last year after months of media speculation. They cited "differences in personality" for the divorce.
However, rumours in the past months have hinted at reconciliation soon. Tse, 30, and Cheung, 31, were seen spending family time together with their eldest son Lucas at Hong Kong's luxurious private club, the Aberdeen Marine Club.
The Daily Chilli reported that Tse and Cheung were acting like a married couple again. Cheung was spotted in a black bikini as she and Tse swam, sunbathed, ate and were talking and laughing by the pool with friends.
Rumour has it that even though their marriage ended bitterly, Cheung has not given up on their relationship and has been trying to patch things up with Tse for the past year.
Reports claim that the couple meet regularly for the sake of their two sons: Lucas, 5, and Quintus, 2. Lucas is also reportedly the one who wants his mummy and daddy back together.
Just a year ago, the pair dominated headlines for weeks when their marriage was falling apart after Cheung buried the hatchet with former lover Edison Chen, following a chance meeting on a plane in May 2011.
Cheung was exposed in Chen's 2008 sex scandal, which had sent her career spiralling downwards. Tse, who married Cheung when they were both 25, stood by her side throughout the scandal, while Cheung slammed Chen, calling him a liar and a hypocrite.
Hong Kong tabloid media began painting Cheung as a gold-digger while their marriage was crumbling. It was reported that in order to live with her sons, Cheung chose to give up her entitlement to assets which amount to $45 million.
