Freshen up with Rina's signature care

THERE'S a time for work and there's a time to treat the body to a massage that would exfoliate, stimulate and boost relaxation.

At Rina Balinese Resort in Lot 2515, Lorong 6, Kampung Seelong Jaya, Senai, one will be able to invigorate the body and pep up the spirits.

It is unbelievable that such a place exists near bustling Johor Baru.
Although the drive to the resort may be a bit bumpy, it is worth the trip.

The resort, which is managed by Rina Nature Spa and Recreation Sdn Bhd, has experienced masseurs to pamper one with authentic Javanese massages for RM98 an hour.

The company's president Robert Lew said more masseurs will be brought in if there is an influx of guests.

"Some regulars request for a three-hour massage. We also have seminar participants who come in for massages as it is part of their programme," said Lew.

The masseur uses the thumb to apply pressure at the body's energy meridians to stimulate the lymphatic system and to relief taut muscles.

This also helps to improve blood circulation.

The age-old massage therapy is just one of the many services available. Rina is popular for its organic facial treatments, volcanic foot spa, belly candling, therapeutic sand spa, herbal body scrub, herbal jacuzzi and firewood herbal steam baths.

Neatly tucked away across the 1.2ha resort is a herbal garden. The establishment also draws water from its own well which is why the brewed drinks at the resort taste better.

Not-to-be-missed is the ginger tea which is served before and after a massage.
