PETALING JAYA, MALAYSIA: There is more good news for Amber Chia. The gorgeous Malaysian supermodel is three months’ pregnant.

Confirming the news to The Daily Chilli and posting it on her official website www.amberchia.tv, the elated mum-to-be said when she found out about the pregnancy straight after the wedding, she was so excited she wanted to tell everyone.

However, she said she and her husband Adrian Wong, 36, decided that they would announce the news about the baby when the time was right.

“Well, for us, the time is right now,” she added. Tomorrow, after all, is Mother’s Day.

Describing the pregnancy as a miracle, Amber said the next six months would be the most exciting and longest wait in her life.

“Adrian and I are beyond excited,” she added.

The 29-year-old reiterated that she had always wanted to be a mum before she hit 30.

And for the couple, it would not matter whether their baby was a boy or girl.

“But I like the idea of my baby boy or girl growing up to be a supermodel like mummy,” she quipped.

Amber married Adrian, her manager-cum-business partner, in a hush-hush ceremony in Bali on March 25.

The couple dated on the quiet for one and a half years before deciding to tie the knot.
