Think you have a sex addiction?
If you need to have sex all the time to get a sexual high or if you find yourself using men just for sex, you might have a sex addiction.
While clinical sexologist Martha Lee says this is not a medical condition, your sex addiction may be linked to psychological issues, like obsessive compulsive disorder or childhood trauma.
To seek help, contact the Institute of Mental Health (6389-2000), which has a National Addiction Management System (NAMS) comprising a team of doctors, counsellors, social workers, psychologists and psychiatrists, who deal with this and other addictions.
Alternatively, visit www.wecare.org.sg for sex-addiction support and resources.
