'Ex-boyfriend wanted to control my life'

METRO: What type of person do you think you are?

Zhai: I am an ordinary person coming from an ordinary family.

METRO: What hobbies do you have?

Zhai: Cooking and watching films. I never go to nightclubs and bars.

METRO: What's your family background?

Zhai: My mother is an accountant. My father is a manager in a company.

METRO: Did the sex video scandal change you?

Zhai: I will never trust a man like I did before.

METRO: Did you ever consider suicide?

Zhai: No! Why? The one who deserves to die is not me but the person who first uploaded the video.

METRO: How did you find out that your sex video had been posted on the Internet?

Zhai: Somebody wrote in my blog saying they found it online. Then I got a call from my friend confirming it.

METRO: Why do you think your ex-boyfriend did this?

Zhai: He wanted to control my life before we broke up. He is so mean ... I don't want to talk about this guy anymore.

METRO: Has he contacted you to apologize?

Zhai: No.

METRO: What do you want to say to those people who are still spreading the video?

Zhai: I have nothing to say. I am not like them. I just hope the media and people give their opinions and judge things based on the truth.

METRO: Were you ever sexually harassed as a car model?

Zhai: Frequently. Some people touched me and forced me to take a photo with them.

METRO: How did you handle those kinds of situation?

Zhai: I stepped backwards and kept smiling. It's my job.

METRO: What's your opinion about the sex scandals in the entertainment industry?

Zhai: My case is totally different. I was leading a normal and clean life unlike some celebrities.

The content of my video just shows normal behavior between couples.

METRO: Do you think those situations were commercially exploited?

Zhai: Definitely. I now think about 80 percent of news from the entertainment industry is fake.

METRO: Why?

Zhai: So far, most stories about me on Internet is ridiculous.

METRO: For example?

Zhai: Some people said I have done a lot of plastic surgery. In fact, I have just done an eyelid operation.

METRO: Did Wong Jing contact you?

Zhai: No. We don't know each other.

METRO: Do you have any plan to enter the film and Television industry?

Zhai: I don't know. I am satisfied with my life now. I don't want to get too tired. My agent will handle with my future career.

METRO: What kinds of films do you like watching?

Zhai: Hollywood blockbusters. I watched Sherlock Holmes recently.

METRO: Any domestic director or actor you like?

Zhai: I like Zhou Xun's films.

METRO: Say something to the public through METRO.

Zhai: I appreciate those who encouraged and understood me in the scandal. I am walking out of the shadow now. I will continue to be a good model in the future.
