KOREAN actress Song Hye Kyo, famous for her "porcelain" skin, keeps her skin smooth and spotless with a homemade mix of egg white, milk and honey.

According to an interview with the actress on website K-Popped, Song - a spokesman for Korean beauty brand Laneige - recommends an antidote for dry skin, with ingredients you can get right out of your refrigerator.

Once a fortnight, she blends a spoonful of honey, egg white from one raw egg and a spoonful of powdered milk. She mixes the ingredients together into a paste and applies it onto her face as a mask, before rinsing it off after 20 minutes.

Besides raw food supplies from the kitchen, the actress also spoils herself with Laneige products, the Korean beauty brand she has endorsed since 2008.

Her favourite items? The Power Essential Skin Toner, Star Pure Treatment Mask and Water Sleeping Pack. The last item is one of Laneige's star products.

Song also keeps in shape by hitting the gym at least four days a week.

"After a workout, I usually relax with a nice, warm bath... It works wonders in chasing away fatigue and stress," she told K-Popped.

She also drinks at least 1.5 litres of water every day in order to stay hydrated.
