GUANG Ming Daily reported that Hong Kong actress Charmaine Sheh See-Man is the most expensive “dinner guest”.

It is a common scenario in the special administrative region’s entertainment industry for female artistes to attend dinner parties hosted by rich men for a price.

Sheh was also Miss Hong Kong second runner-up in 1997.

Rich men from China have offered the TVB star HK$1.5mil ($268,000) to attend a dinner party.

Coming in second is Tavia Yeung Yi ($215,000) followed by Miss Hong Kong 2005 Tracy Ip and model Chrissie Chau ($143,000).
