JAKARTA, INDONESIA - Most people will have noticed actress Nia Ramadhani is looking skinnier these days.

And Nia has admitted it herself, citing stress as the reason behind her weight loss.

So, what is causing her all this emotional strain?

Her upcoming wedding with the son of Aburizal Bakrie, one of Indonesia’s wealthiest businessmen.

“I’m stressed out, afraid and nervous at the same time,” said the 19 year old who will tie the knot with Ardi Bakrie in April next year. “I’m thinking about the D-Day all the time, the preparations and all.”

“Well, Ardi doesn’t want to get involved in the preparations, so he’s not feeling the pressure like I am,” Nia said at Jakarta’s FX Center recently.

Ardi, who was with Nia that evening, said he preferred to stay away from the wedding preparations simply to avoid arguments.

“Usually there are fights nearing the wedding day, so I prefer to back off,” said Ardi, who has indicated he would prefer Nia leave the showbiz world after they tie the knot.

Nia said she was planning to jump into business after a series of discussion with Ardi’s father.

“This new world [of business] is definitely more complicated. I mean, my life until now has been about reading scripts and acting,” she said. “But I’ve learned a lot [from Aburizal], so now I know a little more about business.”
