Lancome is probably more synonymous in Asia with expert skincare than for its range of make-up and colours.
But the beauty brand wanted to change that perception with a gala night that saw invited VIP guests and media treated to a night of live make-up demonstrations, which included three looks using the three main colours of indigo, gold and red found in its latest make-up colours.
Developed by principal make-up artist, New Zealander Aaron de Mey now based in Paris and New York, the bold colours were versatile enough to wear from day to night.
There was also a mini-fashion show with luxury leather goods-maker Longchamp that gave guests a sneak preview to their Fall/Winter 2009/10 collection.
Diva was there to soak in the atmosphere and check out the promotions that were on offer.
The "Declaring French" Tour 2009 is on at Paragon, Atrium 1, until Sep 7, 2009. Make-overs and beauty treats will also be available!
