The daughter of Hong Kong superstar Andy Lau and his Malaysian wife Carol Chu is just a year old but interest is brewing over where she would go to school later, Sin Chew Daily reports.

Lau, who was in Singapore to promote his latest movie, was asked by the media whether the girl would be sent to Singapore for her studies later.

Lau merely replied that the girl would live with him and his wife.

It was previously reported that Lau had set up an education fund worth RM4mil for his daughter to ensure her future was well taken care of.

He had also planned to send her to study in Canada where his eldest sister lived.

There was also speculation that Lau planned to have his daughter study in Malaysia as his wife's family could look after her.
