Clairol Professional's new ambassador, Mr Thnagorn Chuawiwat, the art director at swanky hair salon Thnagorn by Ketvadi- Gandini in Bangkok, was in town recently.
He gave an inspiring talk to hairstylists at Taiwah Studio & Showroom. He also showcased four hairstyles that he created based on Clairol Professional's global trends for this year, which included blunt fringes, ombre hair and precision layers. The styles are Sophie by Day, Sophie by Night, Lynn by Day and Lynn by Night.
The twist? He modified the looks specifically for the Asian woman.
His collection of looks, called Tokyo Jade, drew on Asian heritage, and wowed the crowd at the seminar.

SOPHIE BY DAY
The jade tips and blunt fringe are a great solution to giving blonde hair an on-trend look without being too bold.
"This look was inspired by the delicate colours used by Asian porcelain painters," said Ms Margaret Macdonald, global education manager for Clairol Professional.
