Cheng admits that age has matured her and her impending motherhood has had quite an impact.
"I've definitely became more of a prude over the years. My blog used to be filled with photos of my partying days, where being seen with the 'in' crowd at Zouk was, once upon a time, important to me.
"Now I'm much more of a homebody who prefers the company of my old select group of friends.
She cheekily adds: "One thing hasn't changed though - I am still as vain as ever!"
She maintains she is not worried about how her son will perceive her in the future.
"No regrets. I don't believe I've done anything to be ashamed of in those spats. It's not like I've been caught being a third party or had a sex tape! I'm not concerned about my son's perception of my Internet persona.
"So his mother is opinionated and says politically incorrect stuff - so what?"
When asked if she is ready to be a mother, Cheng says: "I don't suppose anyone really feels she is 100 per cent ready.
"It is not just about being a mum but a complete overhaul in lifestyle - who wouldn't be nervous about that?
"Well, I've had nine months to mentally prepare myself, so I guess I am as ready as I can possibly be."
