Chinese online gaming firm co-founder Luo Qianqqian has topped the list of the richest self-made women in the world, with a net worth of US$910 million (S$982 million).
She is tipped to be one of 13 future female billionaires, according to ultra high net worth intelligence firm Wealth-X, which released the list ahead of International Women's Day on Friday, March 8.
Ms Luo is also the youngest person on the list at 33 years old.
Others on the list include Chinese-American designer Vera Wang (net worth US$790 million), and Yahoo! CEO, Marissa Mayer (net worth US$270 million).
More than 60 per cent of the richest women on the list are from Asia, which is an "emerging theme" across other sectors, reported Wealth-X.
Said Wealth-X CEO, Mykolas Rambus: "This list supports our observation that there is a shift to younger demographics for female ultra high net worth individuals."
