Dethroned local beauty queen Ris Low's upcoming movie Magnum has been renamed Justice Devil.

The 22-year-old, famed for her "boomz" catchphrase, plays the lead role of Ellen, a woman seeking revenge for her murdered boyfriend.

Other cast members include local actors Ernest Seah, Michael Chua and UK-based model-actor Kai White.

The Chinese-language slasher flick is produced by production company Lion City Films.

According to director C J Harvaraj, Justice Devil will be released in Singapore early next year.

The producers are also in negotiations to release it in the US, UK and Malaysia.
