Actress Wawa Zainal is said to be keeping her relationship with actor Aeril Zafril under wraps, reported Sinar Harian.

News of Wawa and Aeril's purported relationship surfaced since their last film, 99 Kali Rindu, but both had always insisted they were just colleagues.

"Actually, we are not hiding anything because we have been close friends for a long time," Wawa said.

"I do not wish to spread the news that we are going out, because if it doesn't work out, it will be awkward to face each other in public.

"Suffice to say that we are close and getting along well."
