Hong Kong actor and singer Andy Lau recently marked his first birthday as a father on Sept 27.
The 51-year-old "Heavenly King" is reported to be already trying for a son, barely five months after the birth of his daughter with Malaysian Carol Chu.
According to the Hong Kong media, Lau's parents were spotted visiting a doctor specialising in Traditional Chinese Medicine to get fertility medication.
The medicine is reported to cost about HKD1,000 (S$158) per batch.
The doctor confirmed to reporters that the medication is taken to increase a couple's chances of having a baby.
Lau has laid low the past few months, keeping mum about his daughter and wife.
At a work event in Shanghai recently, he finally broke his silence, telling the media that he is "very happy".
