Actress Anna Faris has given birth to a baby boy, her representatives said on Sunday.

Faris, 35, and husband Chris Pratt "are happy to announce the birth of their beautiful baby boy Jack," who "arrived earlier than expected and will be spending some time in the NICU (neonatal intensive care unit)," a statement said.

Faris, known for the Scary Movie film series, married Parks And Recreation star Pratt in 2009. The couple's first child was not expected until the fall.
