Keira Knightley has not only met her knight in shining armour, she has also agreed to marry him.

The 27-year-old British actress had earlier this year moved in with her rocker boyfriend James Righton of British indie band Klaxons.

The couple were introduced to each other last year by a mutual friend, British TV presenter and model Alexa Chung.

After 15 months of dating, Righton proposed to his blushing bride-to-be and she gave a resounding yes.

Knightley's spokesman told the Daily Mail: "I can confirm that Keira is engaged to be married to James Righton."
