Mandopop princess Cyndi Wang, 29, has denied that she was the cause of the split of Sonia Sui and her long-time boyfriend Yao Wen Hao.
The cutie pie singer-actress teared up when she addressed the issue for the first time at a recent press conference.
Sui, 31, a model-turned-actress whose popularity skyrocketed following her role in The Fierce Wife, tearfully admitted at a press conference recently that her eight-year relationship with Yao has ended, hinting that a third party was involved.
There were signs that their relationship was on the rocks back in April, as Yao, 30, claimed that he had not contacted with Sui, 31, for over a month.
He was later rumoured to be seeing Wang when she was spotted visiting his home and using his utensils.
Wang said she was merely following her friends to his house to make desserts and insisted that by that time, he was already single.
She said, in tears: "I'm not the third party. I was never involved in their relationship."
She went on to say that she wouldn't do something like this, because her ex-boyfriend cheated on her before.
"I've been hurt by another woman in a relationship. So I wouldn't permit myself to do the same," she said.
However, Wang reportedly didn't answer the question of whether she's dating Yao, while her management quickly responded by denying that they're an item.
