We at DivaAsia loved the flashes of precious colours and soft, billowy dresses and blousons that were spotted at La Perla's Spring Summer 2009 Pret a Porter show.

The mood of the collection was one of relaxed sensuality, and offered freedom of movement in styles that were loosely-flowing and feminine all at once.

The collection was also big on details - a bolero jacket stands out for its oversized Oriental fabric knot, while extra shines comes in the form of a second gold-coloured jewel-encrusted jacket.

Not letting us forget that the brand is all about luxurious lingerie, lace featured significantly as well. There was a pair of awesome white cotton batiste pants done with floral patterns of lace in white and ivory that we're drooling over.

Models looked like birds of paradise in voluminous dresses with a mono sleeve of hummingbird blue, emerald green and orchid violet.

Accessories had a harder edge with sandals that fastened up to the calf, but the luxe feel was brought through with maxi bracelets encrusted in crystals and stones and jewelled clasps on evening clutch bags.
