A 28-year-old woman swallowed insecticide reportedly because she was upset upon learning that her husband, a policeman, had married again.
Pamulang Police detective chief Adj. Com. Didik Putra Kuncoro said Tuesday that the police were still investigating the case.
Ina was rushed to the Sari Asih Hospital in Pamulang, Tangerang, on Monday in a weak condition, her neighbor, Rusdi, said as quoted by kompas.com.
Rusdi said that before drinking the insecticide, Ina had had an argument with her husband. She was apparently distressed as he had married another woman and seldom returned home.
