Young women want men with '5As'

Young Malaysians are not as so money-minded and materialistic, as the older generations think they are.

When it comes to finding a life partner, many female participants at a youth forum said they would go in a more realistic direction.

They said they would rather to have someone with five 'As' (Affection, Appreciation, Ambition, Acceptance and Attitude), instead of the so-called five 'Bs' (Billions, Bungalow, Benz, Brain and Body).

That was among the findings at the Kahwin 4.0 forum, organised by the Institute of Strategic Analysis & Policy Research in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday.

"For me, I just want someone with 2As - Ability and Attitude. If you have the ability, you can achieve anything that you want, and having the right attitude led you to life a better life," said a female member of the audience who wanted to be only known as Su Fang.

And Deputy Education Minister Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong, who appeared as a guest at the event together with inspirational trainer Chew Hoong Ling, agreed that a man should not be judged by just his pockets.

"Do You want a man with the potential to own the '5Bs' or someone who already has the criteria but cannot keep them for long?," Dr Wee asked.

He also shared his love stories with his lawyer wife Jessica Lim and his family life with the audience.

Memory trainer Lim Teck Hoe gave a talk on "Who wears the 'sarong' in the house" at the event.

He said men and women were born with different attitudes due to the functions of their brains.

"Understanding the differences between men and women is very important in maintaining a happy marriage."

Lim said women were three times more talkative then men, based on a survey.

"But they only need someone to talk to, not to talk with.

"Let them talk. You just have to give a little response accordingly (by nodding the heads or making the agreeing sounds) will do," he said.

TV host Baki Zainal was also present to talk about the differences between men and women in Malay culture.

You are one funny Old Tortoise... You got beaten up in that thread and looking to be beaten up in this thread...
I have never visited Zouk and you say that I influenced him to go to Zouk? You are getting senile and your condition is getting worst...
And you are the one talking about Back up!!! People are talking about backup plan. As always, you are constantly proving to others how perverted and sick you are.
So, you want a 'sick' to add to your 'Old Tortoise'? 'Sick Old Tortoise' perhaps?

Indeed indeed. If Pimple had not told him about Zoo, the CJ would not have developed this strange fetish for animals.

These days, the Chief Justice has lost his integrity, honour and upright/respectable character. I think it has to do with Pimple who has obviously a very bad influence on him, that we all know.

I understand Pimple has his back up whenever he sees the CJ, and trollyena did the right thing to speak up against this. It is in the doomed thread.
