Road to angst

Man married woman from China two weeks after they got to know each other. Since then, it's been a story of unfaithfulness and heartache for him.

September 1997

The couple marry two weeks after she arrives here from China.

January 2008
He hires a PI, who allegedly catches her going into a hotel with another man. He forgives her after she agrees to quit her job and stay at home.

December 2008
She files for divorce. He counterclaims for divorce, which is granted a year later.

March 2010
He is ordered to pay her $100 a month and $20,000 as her share of their flat. Man hires private investigator to trap ex-wife after she demands more money.

April 2010
She files appeal against Family Court decision, seeks more.

July 2010
High Court hears appeal, refuses her more maintenance, but orders him to taken in a budget hotel shows the ex-wife and the PI sitting on the bed after they entered the room.

June 2010
Man hires PI to get evidence of his ex-wife allegedly prostituting herself.

The garmen must set up a PI Agency to verify that all foreign spouses are not prostituting themselves. If proven, then they must stripped of PR status and repatriated.

I guess that's the potential danger of getting married in a hurry--before they know each other well enough..

Only Singapore Papaya law protect the PRC Hooker. They should be repatriate back to China once the marriage is over. Don't tell Singaporean that they are FT in Prostitution which Singapore women refuse to work.
