Chinese actress Vicki Zhao Wei gained more than 10 kg when she was pregnant, but the now svelte-again new mother maintains: "I never disliked my body when I was pregnant. Being fat never affected how I feel about myself."
 
Nevertheless, she gave herself just one to two months to lose her pregnancy weight.
 
The 34-year-old was at a promotional appearance as the new brand ambassador for Mary Chia, a local slimming salon.
 
She was already a customer before she was approached to be the brand’s ambassador, having patronised the salon in 2009 to treat acne outbreaks caused by hormonal changes brought on by the pregnancy.
 
She visited the salon again to lose weight post-pregnancy.
 
The Chinese national reportedly married Singapore-based Chinese businessman Huang Youlong here in 2008, and delivered her daughter at Gleneagles Hospital in April this year.
