You work very hard to get the citizenship that is all. Other than that you dont care a damn about Singapore. You left your country for a reason known only to yourself. Show us your loyalty to Singapore.

I wonder, the singaporeans are on this forum, how they express their loyalty to singapore, and how much they contribute by critisizing others who have got citizenship years ago and have been working hard for it.
There was a good reason immigration was controlled decades ago, but there's a more shameful reason we are "open arms legs and everything else" to welcome FT now - the 3rd & 4th Generation Chinese immigrants making up 70% of our citizen population is not competent to contribute enough!
I don't have to be a fan of Ms Lee to think that the degrading comments about those from PRC are uncalled for... It's juz sad what these forums have become.

FT are in Singapore for $$$$$ only. Once they have eraned engouh $, they will return to theirr home country, claiming Singapore is not suitable for them to live. Please dont't waste time & $ on them, spend the $ on our own people. I am always loyal to my own country, same to them.

MM wld be happy with this news, A 'Singaporean' Silver medalist mom to-be with a probable new "Singaporean' popping out soon. Great stuff for the media too....

Congrats to JW for having wedding & a baby too. Now that's what's called killing 2 birds with one stone! This woman hv no sense of SHAME at all! LOL..Ah well, surely she wants the baby to be born in S'pore instead of Beijing, to take advantage of the passport & HDB's upper-end flats or is that being 'sour grapes' as one lovelorn forumner griped...chuckle.........

We would prefer to issue our Passport to other
nationalities rather than to a PRC. Who in the first place ask you to come to Singapore?

are dirt cheap compared to
Singapore.. 6 star hotels in Beijing is only 4
stars in Singapore. So what so grand about the
wedding reception.
Mr Susilo at least can afford a Honda and stay in a Condo. What has she got and where was she staying on her own in Singapore - dormitory.
Worst still it is a short gun marriage.
