Sheer was definitely one way to grab eyeballs on the red carpet in 2013, with celebrities from Gwyneth Paltrow to Fan Bingbing and Anne Hathaway rocking the see-through trend.

However, most still manage to look elegant and breathtaking in their barely-there threads, while making others envious of their svelte figures at the same time.

And it looks like the sheer trend is here to stay in 2014, according to UK Glamour magazine, with the invasion of the sheer skirts on the likes of Jennifer Lawrence spotted on the red carpet.
