A year after free boob job, blogger goes flat again
by Charlene Chua

Having a temporarily bigger chest is like a trip to Disneyland –when you get home, you miss it but you’re still glad it happened.

This is how local celebrity blogger Qiu Qiu described her A-cup assets, which she “enjoyed” for a year, thanks to a sponsored boob job last year.

She had, as a joke, asked for the freebie on her blog and was flamed by netizens.

The boob job she got was a series of filler injections which, she was told by her doctor, Dr Jonathan Lee, a leading consultant surgeon at The Aesthetic Studio, would last for two years.

But the pretty 1.73m-tall blogger, who weighs 47kg, admitted that she is now“flat”.

Still, Qiu Qiu, whose real name is Hong Qiu Ting, no longer hankers after bigger breasts.

Life is a bed of roses for her now.

Her boyfriend of seven years has proposed to her with a 1.03-carat diamond ring and she has snagged her first local movie role – in Jack Neo’s $3 million two-part army flick Ah Boys To Men.

The first instalment will be released here on Nov 8 and the second on Feb 7.

At the press conference to announce the movie yesterday, Qiu Qiu, 25, told The New Paper: “Before the boob job, I was flat. So I asked for A-cup breasts, and for the first time in my life I knew what it felt like to have breasts.

“I would look at them in the mirror every day and think to myself, ‘I’m sexy.’

“Now that they are gone and I’m back to my flat self, I do miss them but I’m just thankful and happy for the experience.

“People thought I wanted the boobs because I was vain. If that was so, I’d have opted for something permanent and bigger –B or C cups.”
