UK teen has "most perfect face"

18-year-old student Florence Colgate has what scientists call the "perfect face".

According to the Daily Mail, her face fits the optimum proportions for beauty, with perfect ratios between her eyes, mouth, forehead and chin, endowing her with flawless proportions.

Colgate beat 8,000 other finalists to the title after she was judged to have a 44 percent ratio where the space between her pupils is just under half the width of her face from ear to ear.

She also had a 32.8 percent ratio for the distance between her eyes and mouth.

Scientists believe the ideal distance should be a third of the overall length from one's hairline to her chin.

And to top it off, she also has a almost perfectly symmetrical face, well-known as a scientific marker of beauty since the days of Leonardo Da Vinci.

Colgate, who holds a part-time job at a fish and chip shop and is studying for her A-levels, came out tops in a competition to find Britain's most naturally beautiful face.

Contestants were judged without make-up and only those who have never had plastic surgery or chemical enhancement were allowed to enter.
