WHILE she could remain comfortable enjoying her creature comforts and the fruits of her hard work, American actress Angelina Jolie chose to put aside time to visit refugee camps around the world.
The 35 year-old first became aware of humanitarian crises while filming Tomb Raider, the movie where she got her big break, in Cambodia. In August 2001, she was named a United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and has been on field missions around the world, meeting with refugees in more than 20 countries to date.
