Hong Kong - He is three years old and hot. Lucas Tse - son of Nicholas and grandson of Patrick - has been offered HK$8 million (S$1.4 million) to make his movie debut, says Apple Daily.
The offer came from director Derek Yee, who said on Sunday that Lucas' mother, actress Cecilia Cheung, would have to tell him yes or no by October.
He said he had a role just for her in a film to be made in Hong Kong. If Lucas went along with her, 'I'll pay him double his dad's salary'.
According to the newspaper, Nicholas' fee is HK$4 million for a movie and HK$8 million would be closer to the salary commanded by big names such as Takeshi Kaneshiro and Sammi Cheng.
Asked about Lucas' prospects, his father said: 'I am now a father and I have to give my kids space. If his salary is higher than mine, why wouldn't I be happy?'
Also on Sunday, comedian Stephen Chow said Lucas would sing the theme song for the movie CJ7 2 with his mother.
