Flip flops with a conscience

Flip flops have always been a big part of our lives due to the type of weather we have over here in Singapore. Now here's an opportunity to wear flip flops while caring for the earth.

Havaianas has partnered with the Brazilian Ecological Research Insitute in 2004 to launch new designs under it's IPÊ range annually to help with the preservation of Mother Nature. 7 per cent of these sales are donated to projects that contribute to the preservation of the Brazilian rainforest, the Amazon and the Pantanal.

The IPÊ collection features transparent jelly straps and distinctive forest prints, portraying animals in their natural habitat. Three of them are featured as prints on these flip flops - the wood nymph, sloth and margay. These animals are vulnerable to extinction due to the destruction of the forests.

So you can look stylish, and do your part to save the wildlife.

The Havaianas IPÊ Collection comes in white, black and grey and retails at $39.90 at h - the all havaianas store at ION Orchard.
