Fashion's sliding...from the shoulder to just under the arm, to be precise.

This season, both local and international designers have taken the one-shoulder cut and run with it - one-shoulder tops, dresses and jumpsuits figure in the collections of Bottega Veneta, Lanvin and alldressedup, just to name a few labels.

The style is a neat solution to dressing down stylishly on the weekends (the judo-inspired pieces from Bottega's collection or alldressedup's chiffon floral print top are perfect for that purpose), but swap those fabrics for something a little more luxe and it scrubs up well for night too - plus it's more forgiving than a strapless or spaghetti-strapped top.
