Senior director of retail and lifestyle at property consultancy Savills (Singapore)
If you could have make-up on only one facial feature, which would it be?
My eyes. I've been wearing eyeliner since I started working in 1989.
When, if ever, would you step out of the house without make-up?
I've never really done so. Even on Sunday mornings, when I have to take my daughter to church and have no time to put on make-up, I'm not 100 per cent bare-faced. This is because I would have some residual eye make-up from the night before that can't be removed completely.
Which facial feature are you most insecure about?
My big cheeks. They make me look fatter.
What are your make-up must-haves?
Japanese brand K-Palette's eyeliner from Watsons, which has a thin nib for precise application, and Maybelline mascara.
What is your secret to beautiful skin?
I keep my face clean and I try not to wear foundation if it is not necessary as this allows my skin to breathe so I'm less likely to get blemishes.
I've been using SK-II's Facial Treatment Essence day and night for three years and it has helped to get rid of my eczema.
I recently bumped my head in an accident and had a bruise on my forehead. I've been applying SK-II's Cellumination Beauty Essence and the bump subsided very quickly.
Complete this sentence: Beauty is... from within. If you have a beautiful personality, it will shine from within and it does not matter how tall or short or skinny or fat you are.
